"Basrah Lounge is easily one of the best spots in Manchester for sushi. The sushi was incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and packed with flavour. Every bite tasted high quality, and you can really tell the chefs take pride in what they serve. The variety on the menu is great too, with something for both sushi lovers and people trying it for the first time. The service was just as impressive as the food. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the visit. They were friendly, quick, and very professional, which made the whole experience even better. Great sushi, excellent service, and a really nice atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend Basrah Lounge to anyone looking for quality food and a great dining experience in Manchester."

"Second time visiting as the first time was amazing. Always opt in for the chefs choice of sushi but realised they always give the cheaper cold sushi. Ordered some hot chicken sushi this time too and it was really good. Ordered their fudge cake as dessert but it was cold, I was expecting it to be a little warm so I could enjoy it with the cold cream. Their chicken wings are amazing, ordered it on both my visits and really enjoyed them. This place is definitely something for the sushi lovers!"

"I visited the Noir and Basrah Restaurant today and had an incredible time! We ordered the some grilled food from the black menu, katsu curry and Sushis, and I must say, the Sushis and kebabs were absolutely amazing and lovely! Special shoutout to the lovely girl with glasses who took great care of us! She ensured everything was up to the mark, delivered food on time, and helped us navigate through the menu. She was super thoughtful and informed us that it might get busy, asking us to not panic if the food took a bit longer. Her service was top-notch! She also recommended trying the Karak Chai, and oh my god, it was TO DIE FOR! Overall, it was a fantastic experience and we'd definitely come back!"

"I had such a wonderful experience here! The food was absolutely delicious with so much variety to choose from- everything looked colourful, fresh, and tasted amazing. The service was super quick too, we didn’t have to wait long at all which made it even better. The staff really made the experience stand out; everyone was so friendly and welcoming, always smiling which created such a warm and comfortable atmosphere. A special mention to Ankita – she was incredibly kind, bubbly, and very fast with her service. She made sure we had everything we needed and kept checking in on us to ensure we were enjoying our food, which was so thoughtful. The interior, especially upstairs, honestly took my breath away – the flowers, dazzling lights, and overall design made the whole place feel magical and really added to the ambience of the longe. "I absolutely love this place. As a woman, I feel safe coming here for shisha on my own. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Food arrives hot and tasty. Shisha is always on point. They also play nice music here and you can still hear each other. There are enough spaces between tables. The ambiance is also very nice especially with the fire tables. I would like to thank every staff especially Talha, Seher, Ankita and Mohammed for making me feel welcome every single time."
